15 foods you should never store in your refrigerator

11. Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

If stored in the refrigerator, this delicious spread will harden and become unusable when spread on graham crackers, toast, or fruit. The flavor of the chocolate and hazelnut spread also diminishes as it cools. An unopened container can be stored in the pantry for up to two months. Despite the best before date, an opened container is safe for approximately one month without refrigeration.

12. Apple

If you like your apples cold, you can refrigerate them, but it's not necessary; the crispness of these fruits is actually lost by cooling. Apples make a lovely fruit display for a few weeks on your table or counter. You can extend the shelf life by refrigerating any that you don't eat.
