Known as the world's first passenger airliner, the de Havilland Comet was a source of pride. 1952 marked the beginning of a new era. It had many interesting characteristics, but also many shortcomings. Despite the efforts of engineers, the model could not be overhauled before it suffered a fatal accident.

Devil's Hovercraft

In the mid-1950s, a US Army engineer developed the Devil's Hoverbike. The pilot had to support his feet to move the plane. There were challenges here. He probably contributed to the plane's failure. As a result, people created hoverboards.
