The Airacuda was well received when it was introduced in 1937. As a fighter, the aircraft's engine placement and armament made it very maneuverable. However, the plane overheated when fired and smoke filled the interior.
Vought F7U Cutlass
The Cutlass was known for its unusual tail and its non-traditional wing design. Despite these features, the aircraft encountered many failures. In addition, there was barely enough power to start the plane, which resulted in a 25% chance of crashing. Although the plane could reach high speeds, it could not reach high altitudes or stay airborne for long periods of time.
