From Bormio, you can reach Prato allo Stelvio in 40 minutes via the Stelvio Pass, the highest pass in the Eastern Alps at 2,757 metres (9,045 feet).
11. Yungas Road – Bolivia
Built in 1930, hiking along this trail is not as popular as it was in the 1930s, but it's still popular with hikers. It can be dangerous, but hikers do it for fun; more than 200 people have died there due to landslides and weather conditions.

Due to the heavy snowfall in the area, it takes two months to clear the road after winter every year, which is why the road is called Zoji La.
