This might be the most inventive attempt at a car repair we have seen. Red duct tape is one thing, but using a red plastic bottle as a taillight cover takes creativity to a new level. It probably will not light up properly, but you have to admire the effort. This quick fix is both clever and risky. Using a red bottle shows resourcefulness, but it is not exactly safe or legal. The repair shows how far people will go to follow the rules—at least in spirit—even if the result is questionable. You can almost hear the logic: “It is red, it is clear, it fits, so it works!” Sometimes, the line between a good idea and a not-so-great one is very thin, and this solution lands right in the middle.
